These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Bareedi's Website, located at Bareedi.com. By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Website Name if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Agency's terms and conditions. “The Agency”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our agency. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Clients. The Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client's needs in respect of provision of the Company's stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Kuwait. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Standard Terms & Conditions

Standard Condition of Carriage

By tendering goods for transportation the consignor agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Consignment Note

The consignment shall be correctly addressed by the consignor. The consignor shall be responsible for the accuracy of the information given or declared and shall be liable for any false information or inaccurate declaration.

Exclusion and limitation of liabilities

Bareedi shall not be liable for any loss, delay, damage, costs or expenses incurred by the consignor or any other
person arising out of or in connection with the contract or the handling, storage or transport or other dealings
with the consignment. If such loss, delays, damage, cost or expenses shall arise as a direct result of any willful
act of neglect or default by Bareedi,

Bareedi shall not be liable under any circumstances for any special or consequential damages or losses. Special

or consequential damage or losses shall include (but not limited to) commercial and or financial losses, special
reconstruction costs, substituted costs, loss of interest/profit/income/utility/market or business opportunity
whether or not Bareedi had knowledge that such damages might be incurred.

Bareedi shall not be liable for loss, damage or delay caused by events which are beyond Bareedi’s control
including but not limited to acts of God, perils of war, weather conditions, mechanical delays, acts of public
enemies, war, strikes, civil commotions or apparent authority.

Custom clearance

Bareedi will use all reasonable endeavors to effect custom clearance but will not be liable for any penalties imposed or costs incurred due to delay or refusal by the customs authorities or due to the good or consignment been impounded by customs or other authorities and the consignor hereby agrees to indemnify Bareedi on
demand against any such penalty or loss. The consignor shall comply with all applicable laws, customs and other government regulations of any country to, from, through or over which the consignment(s) may be carried, including those relating to the packing , carriage or delivery of the consignment and shall furnish such documents as may be necessary to comply with such laws and regulations. Bareedi is not liable to the consignor or any other person(s) for loss or expense due to the consignor's failure to comply with this.

Customer registration/Virtual Address

Once you as a (customer) registering to our platform you must attach an valid ( Civil Id or Passport) copy. Moreover, you will be provided with a virtual inbox address in Kuwait will be provided the time you complete your account setup.

Shipping charges/ Refund
Transportation charges are calculated according to the weight or volumetric weight whichever is higher and any consignment may be re-weighed and re-measured by Bareedi to confirm this calculation. Transportation charges, incidental charges, custom duties, fines, penalties and other charges incurred or imposed by any relevant authority or body(s) in connection with the consignment shall be paid by the consignor. Packages considered oversized and overweight will incur an oversized shipping fee (Oversized shipment with dimension of LxWxH (120x80x80) or weight = 60 kg)(each item box). This fee is necessary to cover the additional handling and logistical requirements for processing and delivering these larger packages that will cost you as a ( Customer ) 15KWD or an equivalent amount in your local currency that will be charged to you as a ( customer ) in the final total payment. While ordering an item(s) from any vendor in Kuwait and not using the provided virtual address your are not as a (customer) eligible for a refund due to missing in your provided information to the vendor and your item(s) will not be received in Bareedi warehouse and you as a (customer) will not be able to track your shipment.

Insurance

No insurance will be effected by Bareedi except upon written expressed instructions from the consignor and upon payment of additional charges thereof. If Bareedi is instructed to insure the consignment, Bareedi will only insure the consignment on a policy containing usual exceptions and conditions issued by any insurance company or underwriters in Kuwait. If the insurer(s) under the policy dispute the liability for any reason(s), the consignor shall only have recourse against the insurance company and shall not have any claims, demands, or actions against Bareedi. Insurance costs for shipments of merchandise are based on 3% of the total declared invoice value, which is received along with the products from the vendor(s). The insured value is subject to the terms and conditions of the particular carrier's airway bill(s). All claims are reviewed individually, and any claim payment will be based on the declared value.

Prohibited and Restricted Items

The following list is a non-exclusive sampling of items that are restricted, cannot be shipped or, depending on your destination country, may either require an import license, additional documentation and/or cause problems and delays during the customs review of your shipment:

  1. Combustible/flammable items (paints, oils, lighters, perfume, nail polish)
  2. Any type of pressurized can (hair spray, shaving cream, spray cans of any type)
  3. Hazardous materials (matches, chemicals, explosives)
  4. Firearms, weaponry and their parts: military, police and tactical equipment of any kind, including guns, gun replicas, gun accessories, gun components (magazines, clips and rail systems), ammunition, knives, swords, compound bows, crossbows, discharge weapons such as shock batons or stun guns, tooling for guns or gun parts, optical scopes, laser sights, night sights, night visions goggles, handcuffs and other restraints, surveillance equipment
  5. Agricultural products such as tobacco, plants and seeds (restricted to some destinations)
  6. Coffee (restricted to some destinations)
  7. Perishable foods (refrigerated, frozen, fresh/raw fruits and vegetables, etc.) Note that any food (including dietary supplements)
  8. Animals and products made with animal skin (furs)
  9. Jewelry and precious stones are restricted to some countries
  10. Lottery tickets and gambling devices
  11. Prescription and/or veterinary medication
  12. Pornography
  13. Lock picking devices
  14. Government IDs and licenses, or items that claim to be, or that look similar to, government identification documents. This includes uniforms and badges or patches designed to look like official government-issue.

Delivery/Returns

Bareedi & its agents shall only deliver the consignment to the address stated on the Consignment Note. Bareedi shall be deemed to have delivered the consignment in accordance with the contract if at that address it has obtained from any person a receipt or signed delivery form. Bareedi & its agents will deliver Consignments: (1) Unless explicitly requested by you, to a Delivery Address only after contacting the Consignee for a delivery confirmation, a maximum of 3 calls and/or SMS and if unsuccessful after 2 consecutive days of follow up limited to 2 calls and 1 SMS per day by the courier company, after which if the Consignee remains uncontactable or unavailable (2) To the Consignee or their authorized recipient. An authorized recipient is someone the Consignee identifies to us as authorized to receive on Consignee’s behalf or a person at the Delivery Address reasonably identified as being so authorized. We will return any orders in accordance with the seller's return policy for items that arrive damaged or incorrect. The User is responsible for all return fees.

Storage charges

Storage Policy for Oversized Shipments at Bareedi Warehouse:

  1. Storage Duration: Oversized shipments, those weighing more than 60KG or having dimensions exceeding LxWxH=(45CM x 45CM x 75CM), will be stored for a maximum of 30 days.
  2. Storage Charges: Storage charges will be applied for oversized items after two days from the date of receiving the items in Bareedi Warehouse.
  3. Payment Notification: If the payment for storage charges is not successful, you will receive a notification. Please update your credit card details within 24 hours to settle the outstanding amount.
  4. Disposal of Unsettled Items: If your credit card information is not updated for settlement your package will be disposed after 30 days from this notification

Kuwait Law
These conditions of contract, and any interpretation or dispute arising there from, shall be made in accordance
with, and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws and courts respectively of Kuwait.
